An evolving performance paper about rivers, memory, walking, etc. …… initiated by Iain Biggs & Mel Shearsmith for the Mapping Spectral Traces IV conference held at Maynooth and Dublin, May 25th-27th, 2011, and further developed for the 21st June 2012 event: A Place, A Space conference, Worcester University. This version of  All that stops your memory from turning to ash in my mouth is… was  co-authored by Dr Iain Biggs, Mel Shearsmith and Dr Stephen Robins and performed by Mel Shearsmith and Dr Stephen Robins. This second version was performed again on the 30th March, 2013, to mark the final talk by Iain Biggs before his retirement from UWE, Bristol
